Blackwattle – 1000 pieces (Loose Wood)

Characteristics

Blackwattle is mostly used for open fireplaces & pizza ovens. It ignites fairly easily and leaves some residual heat due to its coals. It is also known as “kuierhout” and is often used for atmosphere fires like a braai or a fire pit.

We sell “loose wood” Rooikrans, Blue Gum & Blackwattle fireplace and braai wood only from October till March each year. This allows our customers to season / dry the wood to perfection as they desire.

We do not sell “loose wood” during the Autumn and Winter months as we cannot guarantee that the wood will be dry or ready for immediate use in your fireplaces.
