The Firewood Company delivers kaggelhout, Short Pieces, Namibian hardwood and charcoal to Fish Hoek, Clovelly, Kalk Bay and St James for R495 per drop, and to Muizenberg for R350. Deliveries run Monday to Friday, typically within 1–2 business days. Offloading and stacking the bags included.

Tell us where a truck can stop and how far the bags travel. Fish Hoek is flat and mostly has a driveway at the gate. Kalk Bay is where the route stops.
Fish Hoek & Kalk Bay: the local paragraph
Kalk Bay is built on a slope with a railway line at the bottom of it. The lanes climb off Main Road at an angle that makes a handbrake a matter of opinion, the cottages on them are small, old and shoulder to shoulder, and the fireplaces inside were built when a shovel of coal was the fuel — shallow, narrow, no home for a full-length log. Above it Boyes Drive runs the length of the mountain with the bay underneath. Fish Hoek, round the corner, is the opposite: a flat grid between two beaches, wide streets, lived in by people who retired into them and want a fire lit at five, not a woodpile to manage. Clovelly sits up the valley behind the golf course, a degree colder; St James is a row of houses above the tidal pool and the bathing boxes. What ties the lot together is the damp: a False Bay July gets into the walls, and the fire is what shifts it.
