Unbagging Wood (Per Bag) “Weather permitting if outside”

Firewood unbagging is a delivery add-on, priced per bag: the driver empties your bags onto the pile, leaving wood and no bags. The Firewood Company offers it on any bagged-wood delivery, such as Blue Gum or Kameeldoring, across Cape Town, the Winelands and the West Coast.

Is stacking already included in delivery?

Yes: carry-in and stacking within 50 m come with every delivery (see our delivery page). Unbagging is the extra step.

How do I order unbagging?

Set the quantity to the number of bags, and tell us in the order notes where the pile is.

What happens if it rains on delivery day?

If the pile is outside and it’s raining, we reschedule the delivery to a dry day so we can unbag it for you.

Do I need unbagging for loose wood?

No. Loose wood (blue gum, black wattle or rooikrans) arrives loose, and stacking it within 50 m is part of its price.
