The Firewood Company delivers firewood, braai wood, Namibian hardwood and charcoal across greater Cape Town, the Winelands and the West Coast from its factory shop and yard on Tredoux Street, Parow. Delivery is one flat fee per route — R200 to R495 depending on where you are — with the bags stacked for you and no free-delivery threshold. Trading since 2001.

Northern Suburbs

Monday to Friday · typically 1–3 business days · our factory shop is in Parow, so this is the route we run from the front door.
Atlantic Seaboard

In peak winter weeks the metro turnaround can stretch to 2–4 business days. Whatever it is on the day, it’s shown at checkout before you pay.

Not on any route: Kommetjie, Capri, Simon’s Town, Glencairn, Scarborough and Ocean View. The South Peninsula run ends at Kalk Bay on the False Bay side and Noordhoek on the Atlantic side. If you are beyond that, WhatsApp us — an honest no beats a missed delivery.

If your address doesn’t come back with a delivery option, WhatsApp us. We reach further than the list above on arrangement, and routes extend when enough orders come from one direction. That is how the West Coast run started.
What every route includes
Offloading and stacking the bags, included. We carry the bags to your wood store, garage or braai and stack them neatly where you want them. Long driveway, back gate, up a flight of stairs to the parking bay — put it in the order notes and it’s handled. Unbagging — emptying the bags onto your pile — is R10 a bag, added at checkout.
One flat fee per route, published on the page. Not by weight, not by bag count, not quoted after you order. The number on the route page is the number at checkout.
Wood that is seasoned and stored under cover — so it lights, and burns hot instead of hissing at you. Our Dry Guarantee covers every bagged product. Loose loads are the one exception, and part of why they cost less is that we don’t guarantee them — we’d rather say so than pretend.
Collecting instead? The factory shop is at 35 Tredoux Street, Parow — Monday to Friday 08:00–16:30, Saturday 08:00–12:45. No delivery fee, and we load it for you.

Frequently asked questions
How much is firewood delivery in Cape Town?
It depends on the route. R200 in the Northern Suburbs, R250 on the Western Seaboard, R300 in the Southern Suburbs and across the Winelands and Helderberg, R350 on the Atlantic Seaboard, in the City Bowl and to Hout Bay, R495 to the far South Peninsula, and R350 on the West Coast route. Every route page above states its own fee, and checkout confirms it before you pay.
Do you deliver to my area?
Enter your address at checkout — if there’s a route, it comes back with a day and a fee. If it doesn’t, WhatsApp us and we’ll tell you straight whether we can reach you.
Is there a minimum order?
No — not in the metro or the Winelands. The only exception is the West Coast route, which has a R2,000 minimum because it’s a dedicated fortnightly truck.
Do you stack the wood?
Yes — the delivery fee includes carrying the bags in and stacking them neatly where you want them. If you’d like them emptied onto your pile as well, add Unbagging at R10 a bag when you order.
Is your wood actually dry?
Yes, and we stake 25 years on it. Our bagged wood is seasoned and stored under cover, so it lights properly and burns hot instead of hissing at you. If a bag ever disappoints, tell us and we’ll make it right — that is the Dry Guarantee. Read the Dry Guarantee.
Do you deliver on Saturdays?
On the Northern Suburbs route, yes — order by Friday 15:00. Other routes run Monday to Friday. The factory shop at 35 Tredoux Street, Parow is open for collection Saturdays 08:00–12:45.

We do — restaurant-grade lump charcoal, hardwood and briquettes on standing weekly orders, across the whole map above. WhatsApp us for trade pricing.
