The Firewood Company delivers kaggelhout, braai wood, Namibian hardwood and charcoal to Wynberg, Plumstead, Diep River and Southfield per drop. Deliveries run Monday to Friday, typically within 1–2 business days. Offloading and stacking the bags included.
Delivery fee: R350 flat to Wynberg, Plumstead, Diep River and Southfield, whatever you order. No minimum.
Delivery days: Monday to Friday. Typical turnaround is 1–2 business days; in peak winter weeks it can stretch to 2–4. The turnaround for your order is shown at checkout before you pay, and we update it as demand changes.
Cut-off: order by Thursday 15:00 to be on the Friday run. Past that, a Friday morning truck sometimes has a gap — ask, and treat a yes as a bonus.

Access: the easiest part of the route. Main Road and the M5 bring the truck straight in, and most houses have a driveway or a gate at the pavement. Chelsea Village is the exception — narrow lanes and no driveways, so the bags come the last stretch by hand.
Wynberg & Plumstead: the local paragraph
Wynberg is two suburbs stacked on a hill. At the top, Chelsea Village is a grid of Georgian and Victorian cottages around Church Street and Wynberg Park — whitewashed, low, thick-walled, with a fireplace set into a room that was never large. Short Pieces suit it; a full-length bloekom log sits half out of the grate. At the bottom of the hill, around Maynardville, the streets carry the bigger Edwardian houses with a proper chimney stack and a hearth to go with it.
