- Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 1-5 working days (unless otherwise indicated at checkout) .
- Delivery date and time will be confirmed by email or telephone.
- Customers who fail to accept delivery during confirmed delivery times (after delivery has been confirmed and dispatched ) will incur an additional delivery charge.
- Cancellation of orders by the client will incur a 10% administration fee and delivery fee if the order was canceled after delivery has been confirmed and dispatched.
- The offering on this website is available to South African clients only.
- Pictures used on the website is a image of the product taken at a specific time and date but we cannot guarantee that all the products will look the same as in our photo’s.
- The provision of goods and services by The Firewood Company is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, The Firewood Company will refund the client in full within 30 days.
- The Firewood Company shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA).

How does Delivery work? / When will my wood arrive?
- Once we have received your proof of payment , delivery date and time will be confirmed by email or telephone.
- We strive to deliver your orders within 1-5 business days (unless otherwise indicated at checkout).
- Standard deliveries take place between 8h30 and 17h00 Monday to Friday.
- Delivery times are estimated. Please allow a 4 – 6 Hour Window period your for delivery to arrive. There are many factors that affect delivery times ie traffic congestion
- Customers who fail to accept delivery during confirmed delivery times (after delivery has been confirmed and dispatched ) will incur an additional delivery charge.
- Cancellation of orders by the client will incur a 10% administration fee and delivery fee if the order was canceled after delivery has been confirmed and dispatched.
Please make sure someone is at the delivery address to receive your order when a delivery date and time has been confirmed.

Standard Delivery
- Standard Delivery Fee varies varies depending on your location.
- Deliveries will be scheduled efficiently and the most economical route will be planed to allow for lowest possible carbon footprint and time wastage
- Delivery times are estimated. Please allow a 4 – 6 Hour Window period your for delivery to arrive. There are many factors that affect delivery times ie traffic congestion
- We carry & stack the bags neatly within 50m of the allocated parking you earmarked for us as offloading zone.
- Please make sure you inform us if you would like our Gents to stack the bags in a multistory building, Up a big flight of stairs or down narrow pathways where trolleys cannot fit. Let’s work together and work towards a win-win situation.
- Deliveries that require more time than our average deliveries, might have a surcharge in the future to compensate for extra time allocated to do your delivery. Please understand that the average time is allocated in order to deliver everyone’s orders on time.
Backorder
- If an order is placed on back order then delivery will take longer than 5 working days and you will be contacted as soon as we have stock to arrange delivery as soon as possible
